Individual therapy sessions provide a confidential space where children can make sense of difficult, frightening or traumatic experiences and process them in a healthier way. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Our therapists use a range of different therapeutic tools, making use of the arts and play to help children express their thoughts and emotions. These sessions can be short or long term depending on need. Our therapists work in a systemic and holistic way, meaning they consult with the significant adults in a child’s life to develop understanding and awareness of the child’s internal world.<\/p>\n

Whilst maintaining full client confidentiality our therapists also liaise regularly with parent, carers, teachers and the wider professional network to share tools and techniques that can help to manage situations and improve relationships. Sometimes therapists include parents or carers in the child’s therapy sessions to aid this further. <\/p>\n

Sessions can be accessed via our School Partnership or on an individual basis either directly or through Social Services, Virtual Schools and other agencies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
